This Module use AR1021X as Soc. The AR1021X is a highly integrated, system-on-a-chip solution for 2.4/5 GHz IEEE 802.11n 2x2 MIMO WLAN, providing improved link robustness, extended range, and increased throughput and performance.
The AR1021X supports two-stream 802.11n and includes the Qualcomm Atheros internal Efficient Power Amplifier<0099> (EPA) technology. It integrates dual-band power amplifiers and receive low-noise amplifiers, and 2.4GHz Tx/Rx switches. Advanced architecture and protocol techniques save power during sleep, stand-by and active states.
The AR1021X supports USB, SDIO, and SPI host interfaces, and multiple peripheral interfaces including UART, SPI, xMII, I2C and GPIO. All internal clocks generate from a single external crystal. The AR1021X supports reference clocks ranging from 19.2to 52MHz.
